Why deep silence?
More and more we are recognizing the trick our mind plays in keeping us trapped in cycles of fear, anger and shame. We repeat the same destructive patterns in relationship with others with ourselves, repeat the same stories over and over again. It is when we are able to create dramatic gaps in these cycles that real change can occur. Going into extended silence creates the opportunity for meaningful and powerful gaps, where we can see and feel with new eyes and an open heart what a healthier and more loving way to be might look like.

Sharing the silence with a group creates a lot of energy. That energy serves to awaken our healing potential, bringing awareness to the ways we have been living on auto-pilot. In extended silence we begin to access our truth and shift how we think and feel about the world and about ourselves.
Your Yoga…..
Michelle’s genius is in making you feel safe. To let go of old pain and come to new truth, allowing the body/mind to experience deep physical and emotional safety facilitates a deeper journey.
Michelle will lead you through your Hatha postures and breath work during the day, circulating energies and releasing tensions of the body.
In the evening Michelle will guide you with gentle Yin, Restorative asanas, and Yoga Nidra to direct you into surrender. All practices assist in calming the sympathetic nervous system allowing our being to process and let go.
Your Meditation….
Bathe in the collective energy offered by the teachers and generated by this sacred community, engulfing the body/ mind in healing consciousness.
Meditations will be led by me, with an offering of healing energy to bring you into your fullest potential. I participate in 2-3 retreats a year, committed to bringing the energy of consciousness to my clients.
Each day, contemplations and reflections will be offered to help guide you on your journey inward. When we sit in meditative spaces, our intuitive self takes inspirational words and ideas to the next level, finding and feeling the depth of universal wisdoms that lead us into expansion.

Retreat General Information:
Please arrive and check in between 3:30- 5:00 pm on June 23rd. We will have dinner together at about 5:30 pm, followed by brief introductions, discussion about expectations and routine, and then initiate silence after a meditation at approximately 8:30pm.
These are shared accommodations in a stately home located on the Niagara River. Facilitates include rooftop patios, jacuzzi and 100ft of riverfront property.
Yoga & meditation sessions will be appropriate for all levels.
